DUNLAVIN

Dunlavin is situated about 5km west of the main N81 and is very close to the Kildare County border. It is a peaceful village characterised by its unusually wide streets forming an expansive T-junction. Its crowning glory is the Courthouse Centre of the village. Built in the ancient Doric style of Grecian architecture, it is one of three such buildings in Ireland.
