WICKLOW COUNTY TOURISM SUPPORTS LOCAL LIGHTSCALE DRIVER

Wicklow County Tourism is pleased to sponsor lightscale driver for 2008 Cormac Wyatt, who is from Co. Wicklow. Nineteen-year-old Cormac is part of ‘Team Maximum Service Racing’, and is taking part in the European Championships, with race meetings taking place in Luxemburg this month.

Cormac will be taking the name of Wicklow County Tourism with him on his travels, with special branded cars, t-shirts and logos on the team camper van.

As well as competing in the Championships in Luxemburg, Cormac and the team will also be travelling to the UK for several races this year.

Commenting on the hobby Cormac says, “Since we started in 2001 we have been passionate about 1/5th Scale Racing. Over the years we have learned more and more about the hobby and we will always be learning. We aim to have fun at races and to enjoy ourselves. But we also aim to do the best we can and get the best results possible.”
