Commenting on Wicklow County Tourism’s Christmas
Campaign, Chairman Tom Fortune says, “Members of Wicklow
County Tourism have made a huge effort this year to make
sure that visitors to the county will have a wonderful
time this Christmas. A lot of activity is taking place
in County Wicklow throughout November and December.
There is something for all ages and budgets.
Tourism Development Officer Fred Verdier says that the
Christmas section is just the start of many exciting
seasonal specials to come on www.visitwicklow.ie.
“Wicklow is a year-round destination and Christmas is
one of its highlights. Wicklow County Tourism will have
regular seasonal specials on our website over the coming
year with January dedicated to Health and Beauty,
February focusing on Valentine’s Day and Weddings and
St. Patrick’s Day in March etc.”
Tom Fortune adds, “I have no doubt that the festive
season in the Garden County will be more exciting and
more entertaining than ever before, so why not come and
share the magic of Christmas in Wicklow. On behalf of
myself, the board of directors, the executive, staff and
the members of Wicklow County Tourism I wish everyone a
Happy and Peaceful Christmas and a prosperous 2009.”
