Kippure Estate Treasure Hunt

A family treasure hunt based on the "Leave No Trace"
principals that will introduce people to the ethics of
responsible use of the outdoors. The trails take you

Self-Guided Nature Trails on flora and fauna of
Glendalough
Wicklow Mountains National Park
Education Staff of the Wicklow Mountains National Park
have prepared four Self-guided Nature Trail leaflets.
Each will help visitors to discover some of the flora
and fauna in Glendalough. Self-Guided Nature Trail
leaflets will be available free of charge during
National Trails Day:.

A JB Malone walk on the Wicklow Way
Crone Wood to Pier Gates
10km (ascent 750m) stroll over the best part of the
Wicklow Way guided by Michael Fewer, with chats about
the great JB Malone and his efforts to establish the
Wicklow Way, taking about 4 hours.

Wicklow’s Evolving Landscape

Walk & Talk event along a 1km trail on Kanturk mountain,
overlooking Lough Dan. Learn about the beautiful Lough
Dan area and its surrounding mountains from Sean Byrne
whose family has farmed the land here for five
generations.

Mountain Biking at Ballinastoe

A guided ride around the fantastic purpose built
Ballinastoe mountain bike trails. Experienced riders
from the Mountaibiking Association of Dublin (MAD) will
be on hand to give advice and assistance.

Trail Work Walk and Talk - Mountain Meitheal
Laragh, Co. Wicklow
Walk and talk led by Shay Walsh visiting Mountain
Meitheal's first ever project on the Wicklow Way. We
will then visit our Education Trail and the new Bivv Hut
at Paddock Hill before returning to Laragh.
