VALENTINE'S CONCERTS AT RUSSBOROUGH HOUSE

Wicklow County Tourism members Russborough House in Blessington will be holding two Valentine’s events this coming February.

On Wednesday 11th February ‘The Tradition Club’ will be playing the first ever indoor traditional music concert inside Russborough . The group features Kevin Conneff of the ‘Chieftans’ on bodhran , Paul McGrattan on flute , Gerry O’Connor on fiddle and Breton guitar virtuoso Gilles le Bigot.

On Saturday 14th February Russborough is hosting a concert of Valentine’s Love Music featuring Karin Leitner on flute and Cormac de Barra on harp. The concert will comprise Irish classical music for flute & harp including beautiful pieces by O’Carolan as well as famous love melodies from Film ,TV and Radio.

Both of these concerts will have a wine reception in the Front Hall of Russborough ,’the most beautiful house in Ireland’, prior to the concert. In addition the Kitchen Garden Restaurant is available for candlelit pre concert meals which would be an ideal start to a lovely music evening at Russborough.

Tickets for both concerts are €25 per person to include wine reception.
