SPECTACULAR SAIL FEST IN WICKLOW TOWN THIS JUNE!

This year Wicklow Town is hosting a spectacular Round Ireland Sail Fest to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Round Ireland Yacht Race from Friday 18th - Sunday 20th June.

Festival fever is set to take over the town with non-stop music, events, food and fashion showcases, face painting and Mardi Gras balls.

Visitors to Wicklow will get to sample the best of Wicklow produce with the launch of Wicklow's Finest - Food, Fashion and Flowers fair all day Saturday and Sunday.

Exciting big-name acts will soon be announced to headline the non-stop musical entertainment on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. The party atmosphere is set to continue well into the early hours with all
local pubs and restaurants on board with great variety, value and the very best in entertainment.

Festival Fun for all the family is the name of the game with surprise pageants and parades from Wicklow's Historic Gaol taking over the streets of Wicklow. Facepainting and family games will form part of the big build up to a magnificent firework display on the quays on Saturday evening.

The entertainment moves to the South Quays on Sunday afternoon as everyone gathers to watch the yachts set sail as the 2010 Round Ireland Race officially kicks off.
