TASTE OF ITALY AT MACREDDIN JULY MARKET

Last year the
village of Macreddin cemented its long and fruitful
relationship with the town of Armento in Southern Italy, by
inviting their artisan producers and the town mayor, to join
them for the official twining of their two villages.
This July Market, Michele Canosa and the Mayor of Armento
will once again visit Macreddin to celebrate their twinning,
which provides both villages with an intrinsic
interdependency that allows them to thrive in the produce
that brought them together in the first place.
Also at the July Market, are the people behind two of
Italy’s best known vineyards, Chianti Geographico and
Castello Banfi AND “Hortense” – a unique travelling Wine
Bar, modified by Febvre Wines from a 1970’s Citroen H Van.
So don’t miss, the unique Macreddin Village Food Market on
Sunday July 04th from about Midday. |
