The Garden County is celebrating this
St. Patrick’s week with a very special online radio
station, ‘Garden County Radio’, which will bring the
spirit of Wicklow to a local, national and international
audience.
Just log onto ‘www.eventfm.ie’ and click the ‘Listen
Live’ button to hear the latest live broadcast from
studios in Bray. The station will broadcast from Friday,
12th at noon until Sunday, 21st March.
The station will feature the very best in Irish music,
as well as special features such as trad sessions, a
celebration of the natural beauty of the Garden County
with Patrick O’Rourke and ‘Ardmore Studios 50’, a
reflection presented by Kevin Moriarty, MD of Ardmore
Studios in Bray.
There will also be a Worldwide Requests show, presented
by Ken Doyle of the group ‘Bagatelle’.
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day there will be live music
performances from Comhaltas Ceolteorí Eireann and
on-street parade commentary. You will also have the
opportunity to e-mail the station and share the magic of
Wicklow with your friends and relations worldwide!
