BALTINGLASS STREET FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND!

The Baltinglass Street Festival is a
four day event that takes place from the 26th to the
29th August. There is fun for all the family, all in aid
of a worthy cause, the KARE facility at the Lalor
Centre.
The outdoor concerts are absolutely free, but charity
wristbands will be sold over the course of the Festival
at €2 each, in aid of the cause.
The line-up for the festival is as follows:
Thursday
7pm - Grand opening with Baltinglass Street Festival
rose.
Supporting act 'Nuflames' modern dancers
Supporting act 'Jay-Walkers' perform
9pm - 11pm - Crystal Swing performs
Friday
7pm - Unveiling of 'The Diceman' (Thom McGinty) plaque
at the courthouse
Supporting band 'One Hour Later'
Supporting act 'Nuflames' modern dancers
9pm - 11pm - The American Drifters perform
Saturday
2pm - 5pm - Fair Day Display
6pm - Tug O'War on Main Street
7pm - Supporting acts Nuflames, Rumours of a Rift,
Bus-Stop Lovin' and Touchwood perform
9pm - 11pm - The Coronas perform
Sunday
1pm - 5pm Family fun day including face painters, arts
and crafts, magician, prizes
1pm - Vintage car show and Treasure Hunt
1.30pm - 2pm - Duck race at weir ends at the bridge
2pm - 5pm - Baltinglass Soccer Club crazy games stalls
7pm - Supporting acts and bands Indecision, David Walsh
and Company and Jay-Walkers
9pm - 11pm - Aslan performs
