WICKLOW HOTELS HONOURED AT FAILTE IRELAND SPA AWARDS

Pictured (right) at the recent Fáilte Ireland Spa Awards held in Monart, Wexford were Tracey Coughlan, Fáilte Ireland and Lauren Moloney, Ritz Carlton Powerscourt. The Brooklodge Hotel and Wells Spa was also honoured at the event.

Over 70 properties have been categorised under the new Fáilte Ireland Spa and Wellness Categorisation programme. Developed in conjunction with an Industry Working Group, the programme aims to help tourism establishments achieve excellence in quality and standards for their spa facilities.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Tony Lenehan, Head of Industry and Standards at Fáilte Ireland emphasised -

“This new categorisation system creates a win-win situation for both operators and customers. It will help operators to better advertise their services and will aid both existing and new customers to better understand the variety of spa and wellness offerings available, make informed choices and find the products that best suit their needs.”
