WICKLOW COUNTY TOURISM RELEASES STUNNING NEW AERIAL IMAGES

Wicklow County Tourism has released a stunning new selection of Co. Wicklow images, shot from above.

The photographs were taken by Tourism Development Officer Fred Verdier during a helicopter trip to gather beautiful images of the Garden County for Wicklow Tourism's new promotional programme, 'A Journey through Wicklow'.

Commenting on these images, Fred Verdier said, “Wicklow’s variety of colour and scenery, as seen from above, is beautiful and the perspective over the county from the helicopter was simply stunning.”

‘A Journey through Wicklow’ follows presenter Siobhán O’Connor on a tour through our spectacular county and shows some of Wicklow’s tourist highlights. Much of the imagery captured in these stunning images is featured in the programme.

The show will continue to be aired on City Channel in Dublin and Galway and Channel South in the Munster region for another two weeks.
