ARKLOW MARITIME MUSEUM
The Maritime Museum Arklow is a treasure trove of
shipbuilders' models, half models, plans and a unique
collection of eight paintings of Arklow sailing ships
from the hand of that famous Pier Head painter, Ruben
Chappell. All articles on display are donated or loaned
by local families and companies.
Arklow Maritime Museum continues to improve its
facilities by adding new exhibitions and displays.
Thirty years after it was first opened, thanks to a
dedicated group of Arklow people, we would like to
welcome you all to our new site in the Bridgewater
Centre.
Open all year around (excluding Christmas and New Year's
Holidays)
Parties are welcome and visits can be arranged outside
normal working hours.
School visits can be organised to suit the needs of
different age groups.
Special discount prices are available for group
bookings.
