TIGH NA RÍ RUA
Tigh na Ri Rua is a 300 year old thatched cottage for
Self-catering accommodation/ Holiday Let, in the
Baltinglass and Kiltegan area. It is 10 minutes from
Baltinglass on the N81, giving easy access to
surrounding areas of West Wicklow.
Newly restored, using eco-friendly materials loyal to
original design, it features:

Sash style windows set in deep stone
walls, exposed granite stone, and traditional lime
plaster.
- A large open plan kitchen/dining area
with a stable type door to outside, double height beamed
ceiling, wood burning Stanley cooking stove, original
fireplace beam, and wrought iron spiral staircase to
loft area
- A freestanding cast iron bath in the
main bathroom.
- A snug/living room with a log/turf
burning freestanding stove and French doors to patio
area
Tigh na Rí Rua sleeps 6 people as follows:
- 1 double bedroom with ensuite upstairs
- 1 double bedroom (adjacent to bathroom)
- Loft sleeping area (twin/double/single)
Parking is to the rear of the cottage with
private access.
The patio and front terrace overlook a wildflower meadow and
enclosed garden.
Babies and children are welcome. [spiral staircase to loft
not suitable for small children]
5 miles from Baltinglass; 50 mins from south west Dublin
Situated off a quiet road at foot of Wicklow mountains
Perfect for hill walking. Guided hill walks available.
