Anglers: Go fishing on your own or with Paddy in the beautiful Blessington Lakes (circa 5,000 acres/2,000 hectares). Paddy is always willing to either learn from more experienced anglers or to help to guide the less-experienced anglers with inside knowledge as to where the fish are really jumping in the Blessington Lakes!

Information on all aspects of Ireland readily available to suit your particular interests.

The Avon Ri Leisure Resort Activity Centre is nearby (only 3.5km) with kayaking, archery, clay-pigeon shooting, windsurfing, etc.

Other nearby facilities: hill-walking, golf, pitch & putt, Russborough House and Demesne (one of Ireland's most beautiful houses) and Tulfarris House Hotel and Golf Resort.

Enjoy the extremely beautiful and specially-created walks in nearby Glendalough and visit the nearby Wicklow Gap and the Sally Gap (including the beautiful Lough Tay), Glencree, Glenmacnass, Glenmalure. Equestrian Centres for horse-riding/pony trekking.

Not a million miles from Irish National Stud, Japanese Gardens & Saint Fiachra's Garden.

Directions:
We are 5kms from Blessington. From Blessington, take the N81 southwards in the direction of Baltinglass for 2 kms, then turn left onto the R758 at the Pitch and Putt Course at this corner and continue in the direction of Valleymount for 3kms. Our house is a long bungalow on the right-hand side of the road.
