THE LITTLE GREEN HOUSE

Welcome to the Little Green House, our traditional and extended terraced cottage on the edge of the old part of the town of Wicklow, and which offers a family friendly base for up to 6 people (plus a baby) for exploring the coastline and countryside of County Wicklow, “The Garden of Ireland”.

The cottage is available all the year round and has been extended to provide for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms in centrally heated, well equipped and child friendly accommodation with an open plan living and eating area. Outside is a fenced patio leading down through the terraced rear garden to a single off street car parking.

Our keyholder, who will meet you on arrival at the cottage, is a source of local information and your contact for the cottage during your stay in Wicklow and is backed up by a comprehensive information file, giving details of local facilities, services and resources as well as for further afield.

Whilst a car is recommended for exploring inland, the cottage is easily accessible from Dublin, the airport and places up the East Coat with the direct express bus service 133 from the airport stopping off and picking up within 100m of the front door, while the ferryports of Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare are within easy driving reach. All the facilities of the town are within walking distance whilst taxis are easily available and cars and bicycles can be hired in Wicklow town if required.

The accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor: An open plan living area with sofas, chairs and colour TV with DVD recorder, open gas fire and low table with a small library of books and a selection of family games, leading through to

Open plan cooking and dining area, equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave and dining table and chairs.

A shower room with toilet stands to one side with stairs adjacent leading up to:

First Floor: Master bedroom with double bed, colour TV, bedside units and wardrobe and picture window with view over the back garden and

Two twin bedrooms each with two single beds, bedside units and wardrobes overlooking the street and

Bathroom with toilet, bath, basin and hot press for drying clothes in inclement weather.

Outside: Fenced patio with outdoor garden furniture leading down through terraced garden to single off street parking spot, accessed from the cul de sac behind.

The cottage is offered for rent on a weekly basis with discounts for longer lets. Normal changeover day is Saturday but we will consider shorter lets and other changeover days outside the peak season of May to September.
